Girls4ICT day has come and gone.
Kudos to the I.B.I Centre, Media Range Ltd, Veritrax Solutions, iCom.ng, all the sponsors (including Union Bank, Wordpress) and everyone else that took time out to make it happen (forgive me if I omitted your name or company). It was a great day. And a big thank you to the schools that agreed to bring their students to participate.
Looking back at all the stress of reaching out, publicizing, looking for sponsors, even going to KISS FM to talk about the event on radio, I must say the planning committee did a very good job. Add a comment

Since March, the feeds for our official Daydah Blog has not worked. We first discovered this when the Ironblogger network bot claimed we did not have a weekly post. Even though the post was visible to the human eye, the bot claimed there was no entry for the week. After several weeks of this issue, we were certain that the bot had it in for us. Add a comment

Thanks to my issues with phones recently, I have become addicted to tinkling with Android phone operating systems. Once I get one, the first thought that comes to mind is how to root it, and install a custom operating system on it. The ability to actually remove all the heavy bloatware that comes with a stock firmware on a phone, is a huge relief! Add a comment
